EA and Government: Trends, Observations, Winners and Losers
Government environments are happy hunting grounds for architects: the need to cut cost and increase efficiency, combined with complex legacy platforms and siloed government departments, means that there is no end to the value that Enterprise Architects can provide. Many governments have sustained investments in EA and many have achieved success, and continue to achieve success, and this presentation will talk about some of the critical success factors that are involved. The presentation will also talk specifically about the various stages of team development, as well as some new aspects that could be considered as part of the next version of TOGAF®. Practitioners will leave this session with an increased awareness of the issues facing architects in this environment, lessons learned from other parts of the world that have embarked on this journey, and insight into some leading practice team building and capability development approaches.

We are inviting speakers who have used Enterprise Architecture for strategic planning or governance which include migration planning setting up an architecture capability or building an architecture repository.  If you are interested in speaking at this event, please submit your presentation proposal online.
